Curling board game by Lucrum Games

An Olympic game on your table!

"Curling" board game is an arcade version of the Olympic game that takes place in your home. In the "Curling" game, teams play (i.e., push) their stones along the mat so that they get as close as possible to the target (i.e., the tricolor circle we'll call home). The game lasts 8 rounds and ends with the victory of the team that scores the most points.

In Poland, Curling is not one of the most popular sports, but surely everyone is at least familiar with the "brushes" and "kettlebells" that are used during the game. The mini version of the game will be perfect as a companion to any party or family gathering, and even two players will bring a lot of positive emotions and the thrill of competition. Our board version of the game has been under the patronage of the Polish Federation of Curling Clubs.

A note of history

The first confirmed references to Curling date back to the early 16th century. The game most likely originated in Scotland, and got its name from the Scottish word curr, which means hustle and is a reference to the sound of a stone scrubbing on the ice.

Also included in the box is a second version of the instructions for the lesser-known Shuffleboard game, whose creation is shrouded in mystery. What we do know for sure is that Shuffleboard was played as early as the 16th century by King Henry VIII of England, who later banned the pastime among his people. Today this game uses plastic discs, playing matches on a hard (usually concrete or wooden) surface.
